We decided to keep one of Jessie’s pups, too. CASSIE (Sept. ‘90) is her name. Cassie had been “retired” for a few years before passing away just this Jan (2004). She was unmistakably Jessie’s daughter, although a tad bigger, as a result of Brandy’s genetic pool!!
Cassie had a rich deep color tone with light blonde highlights. Solid & well proportioned. She also had the same “talking eyes” that Jessie was noted for. Chris was particularly attached to Cassie, too, & they spent a great deal of time together. Cassie was a favorite among the guys that do building of our log homes & fencing fabrication – as Cassie loved to “hang out” with the guys each day they worked here. They were most fond of her. She had some of the most striking looking pups. They have the look & temperament!!! We have kept several pups from Cassie’s litters through the years. One such dog stood out & had not been chosen by any of our clients. Chris targeted this little one, also with characteristics of Cassie & Cassie’s mother, Jessie. (This can get confusing???) Her name was Heather.
