Teddy

TeddyThe older of our 2 newest Male additions is named – TEDDY (Oct, ’02). This grand looking fellow just captures your heart from the very first glance! His Champion father’s characteristics have taken predominance in Teddy’s features. Teddy is a perfect looking dog, with all the qualifications of a NORDIC GOLDEN. I have looked for some time now to bring the traits of the Nordic into our kennel & develop them further, through this excellent dog & several others we have recently acquired.

Teddy - click to enlargeTeddy’s pedigree is filled with a long line of Champions on both sides. His very large square head is well-chiseled, with a deep broad muzzle, creating an impressive frontal picture & complementary profile. His friendly dark eyes, dark black nose & mouth contrast with his overall coloring distinguishing him among his mates! It is this contrasting, full light cream coloring in Teddy’s impressive coat along with his expressive dark eyes & smiling facial features that captivate all who see him. His pronounced thick feathering on his chest, legs, underside & tail adds considerably to Teddy’s commanding & alert appearance. Teddy is continuing to mature with well-defined musculature, deep bone structure & features. He has a strong neck and level top line. His croup & tail-set are good.

Teddy loves to romp with ease through the back meadow with me or on hikes in the woods. Although Teddy is solid & muscular, his gate is light, rhythmic, supple & free - resembling that of a large impressive buck, bounding through a thick forest!! He is a “favorite” – for sure. We definitely have a “Winner” with this outstanding male!!

His first litters were whelped Jan. 5, 2004 & Jan. 31, 2004. Within the first week, the character qualities of Teddy’s spectacular features could be clearly detected in his pups, and continue to be enhanced as his puppies grow & develop week by week.

Chris is particularly attached to this big lovable boy!! Teddy’s training is progressing very well. He is a good listener, quick learner, well mannered & obedient. My eldest daughter, Jennifer (Now a Breeder & Trainer of Yellow Labrador Retrievers) & I both believe he has the makings of a Champion.
